Awesome Children’s Books from Top That! Publishing

I responded to a tweet from @TopThatPub awhile back as they were looking for eager parents (and children) to try out some of their titles and recently Jessamy has been a lot more interested in her books. She’s also stopped ripping them up which is also a bonus. We were lucky enough to receive two books from Top That! Publishing and both were enjoyed in different ways.

DillyDogThe first book we received was Yappy Happy Dilly Dog part of the Hand Puppet series and it was a huge hit. How could it not be, we got to attack each other with Yappy Happy Dilly as we read the story and it now takes prize of place in the changing back so we’ve got something on hand to keep Jessy entertained when we’re at any number of appointments and places where we have to wait. The book is fantastic quality and the story is simple, focusing on the hand puppet and well, Jessamy’s giggles would lead me to score it at least five stars. Anything that makes my girl happy makes me happy.

SiennaStrawberryThe second book was one of The Froobles series - Sienna Strawberry and the ice palace ballet. The Froobles stories and well, the entire brand, is designed to teach children important lessons about growing up and in Sienna Strawberry we follow her journey as she learns that practice is important to ensure you can be your best on the day of the big show. Jessamy enjoyed being told this story although she may be a little young for the moral. Of course she loved the stickers, she’s sticker mad and covered her entire top with the page available. This is definitely once we’ll be coming back to and I need to take a closer look at the other Froobles stories for when she’s older. There are also apps and other interactive play equipment from the Froobles but we’re very much book people and love the idea!

Thanks so much Top That! Publishing for giving us a chance to read your books – we loved them!
